This flashy blue roan son ofthe great Peptoboonsmal and out of Holly Cee Lena earned more than $150,000 in aged event cutting,including an NCHA Open Finals Reserve Championship and $10,000 Novice Reserve World Championship,under the guidance ofthe late Greg Welch. Boonsmal Cee Lena and the legendary trainer earned the 2002 Suncoast Futurity 4-Year- Old Open Co-Championship, finished reserve at the Idaho Futurity in the 4-Year-Old Open and made the finals at the Bonanza,PCCHA Derby and Suncoast Winter Championship.

In 2003,the duo earned numerous championships in 5 and 6-Year-Old Open competition and made the finals at both the NCHA Super Stakes and Summer Spectacular.In 2004,Greg and Boonsmal Cee Lena made a run for an NCHA World Championship but when Greg passed away,the tremendous stallion was retired in his trainerŐs memory. With an exceptional career behind him,Boonsmal Cee Lena now looks toward his future as a sire.His first foal arrived in 2003 with a full foal crop following in 2004.His babies have gorgeous heads and solid conformation,are willing and very trainable,and the majority inherit his flashy roan color.
